KUNG LONG BATTERIES INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. Achieves UL 1973 Certification for Its Battery Solutions

Nantou, Taiwan, Jan.16, 2026 –KUNG LONG BATTERIES INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is pleased to announce that its WXL, WPL, HTP, KPH, CWP, WP and WPS series has successfully achieved UL 1973 certification, a globally recognized safety standard for batteries used in stationary energy storage, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and other critical power applications.

UL 1973, “Batteries for Use in Stationary, Vehicle Auxiliary Power and Light Electric Rail Applications,” evaluates battery systems through comprehensive testing, including electrical safety, mechanical integrity, environmental endurance, and abnormal operating conditions. Compliance with this standard demonstrates that the certified products meet stringent safety and reliability requirements for demanding applications.
